Why Is This Important?
Committed, engaged, and focused employees are central to achieving organizational goals, enhancing high-quality city services.
Definition
In an effort to inform the strategic planning process, an Employee Survey was conducted in 2021 as part of the City's Strategic Plan development. The survey was designed by the institute based on discussions with City Staff/Officials, as well as recent trends in employee engagement research. A total of 215 complete responses
were received. The Employee Feedback Survey collected input on a number of topics, including: (1) Overall Job Satisfaction, (2) Organizational Mission and Values, (3) Equity and Inclusivity, (4) Compensation and Opportunities, (5) Organizational Communications, (6) Departmental Culture, (7) Supervisor Evaluation, (8) City Leadership, and (9) Community Relations.
